SwoonMe is a Voice-first dating app meant to eliminate superficial dating through sound bites and avatars. We encourage singles to have an immersive experience with real human voices rather than swiping through profile photos.
About The Role
We need a driven, smart Product Manager at SwoonMe, where you will play a key role in acquiring, engaging, and retaining our users over time. At the moment, the app is available in the US and India. With time, we’ll be expanding to other countries as well. Our goal is to build a dating app that is secure, private and encourages a deeper connection between individuals through voice interactions and games.
This role will support the SwoonMe team in driving product growth and development towards our long-term goals with regard to user acquisition, user retention, creating a monetization model, and the overall improvement of the product.
A key focus for the product manager would be to implement successful products at scale. You will be responsible for the overall growth and improvement of SwoonMe as a product. You will partner with business, design, engineering, and operations to build the necessary platform capabilities to enable both consumer-facing experiences as well as internal tooling (in app referral programs, monetization etc) to support SwoonMe’s expansion.
What you’ll do at SwoonMe

Learn about SwoonMe’s target audience, understand the psychology of our current and potential users, and identify their user needs.

Craft & own the vision, strategy & roadmap for SwoonMe’s product development.

Implement strategies that drive higher acquisition, retention, and an improved user experience.

Work with our tech, UI/UX, and growth teams to align to the common goal and strategy.

Use data analytics, A/B testing, qualitative user research, and predictive modeling to optimize meaningful metrics, identify gaps, and refine the roadmap.

Manage product roadmap/development using tools like Trello/Asana etc
Basic Qualifications

Product Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a product manager working with highly-successful and innovative products that you’re proud of.

Data-savvy - You know how to acquire the data you need to drive product management and use that data to re-strategize and make decisions.

Intuition: You have an intuition when it comes to product growth and you’ve also got UX design sense that helps you deliver on a product that fulfills the user's needs.
Preferred Qualifications

Technically proficient - you have worked with engineers in the development of the technical architecture of products.

Strategic - you can craft a clear and focused strategy and align with other stakeholders

Customers Focused - You prioritize customer feedback collection and understanding all the gaps in the product through qualitative and quantitative analysis and implement a plan to fill the gaps

Experience working on platforms & integrations that power both consumer-facing experiences as well as backend processes.

Experience building products from scratch or scaling up existing products significantly.

Experience building internal tools and dashboards

An MBA is a plus, but not required
